KINGSTON, N.Y. (AP) - Police in the Hudson Valley city of Kingston are investigating the second body found outdoors in a week.
Kingston Police Lt. Patrick Scanlon tells the Middletown Times Herald-Record that the department is awaiting autopsy results to find the cause of death and confirm the person's identity.
Scanlon says the body was found near a baseball field on Tuesday with no apparent signs of foul play. He says the body may have lain there for a day before being discovered.
A body found in a Kingston park on Sunday was later identified as that of 42-year-old Michael A. Potter of Kingston. Officials say he died of natural causes.
