HUDSON – Beginning on April 15, The Clothesline Project will be on display at Columbia Greene Community College.
This moving display showcases interpersonal violence that has occurred in Columbia and Greene Counties. An exhibit of over 300 shirts that have been designed by victims and survivors of violence have been submitted for this display.
Each shirt represents a survivor, each one decorated by an individual who has been affected by violence.
On April 16, from 10-2p.m. there will be interactive activities and a dessert tasting. On April, 18 from 6-8p.m. there will be a Survivors Speak Out event that will include a self defense demonstration and welcome speaks by local elected officials.
The display will hang until April 29.
